Its a new food market – but definately the BEST in Dublin. GREAT selection of stallholders – all actual food PRODUCERS. And such a beautiful location… highly recommended. dont bother with the others. This food markets is beside the ROSE GARDENS in St ANNES PARK – near WONGS CHinese Restaurant on the coast road. I am a regular there now.
The Red Stables market could and should become part of a Dublin City Food Trail, bringing more choice for consumers and opportunities for producers as well as environmental benefits.
The fare on sale is pretty much the same stuff you get at any other farmer’s market – home-made chocolates and quiches and whatnot – but it’s a nice location and it’s enjoyable to wander around even if you have no intention of buying anything.
So if you’re in St Anne’s of a Saturday with a relatively free schedule, pop down to the Red Stables market.
